Pope Francis gifted a customized Lamborghini, but he auctioned to help the Needy

Pope Francis was on Wednesday 15th November 2017 gifted a brand new sleek white papal-themed Lamborghini Huracán. The Lamborghini was presented to him in front of his residence at the Saint Martha Guesthouse, Vatican by the company’s top executives.

The Holy Father blessed and autographed the car, then announced that the car will be auctioned for sale to help support Charity organisations helping the poor and needy. He preferred his trademarked Popemobile.

The Lamborghini which is said to cost roughly $250,000, will be auctioned at Sotheby’s in London, and the Pope has decided to give the proceeds to three different charitable causes: the restoration of villages on the Nineveh Plain in Iraq, assisting victims of human trafficking, and missionary work in Africa.

May God continue to bless and strengthen the Holy Father, Pope Francis!
